Stop the Traffik    
Stop the Traffik is a growing global movement of individuals, communities and organisations fighting to PREVENT the sale of people, PROTECT the trafficked and PROSECUTE the traffickers. STOP THE TRAFFIK was set up in 2006. It has now more than 1000 member organisations in 50 countries and tens of thousands of activists all over the world.

The Esther Benjamins Trust

Nepal's forgotten children are those who have been trafficked, abandoned on the streets or left to fend for themselves while a parent serves a jail sentence. To all intents and purposes, they have been forgotten by society. The Esther Benjamins Trust  resolves to change that by providing residential refuge, access to education and vocational training that can help their successful reintegration into wider society.
Treasures of Darknes

Treasures of darkness is a charity seeking to reach those sold into modern day slavery. Treasures of darkness is in partnership with two projects. One of these rescues children who are being sold into slavery in West Africa on the cocoa plantations that produce much of our chocolate. The other works in Cambodia rescuing young girls sold into prostitution.

Action for Street Kids (ASK)

Action for Street Kids is caring for homeless children on the streets of cities worldwide. ASK works with partner organisations all over the world, both in the UK and in developing countries, to fund street work and intake shelters; residential and educational care; family reconstruction, medical and counselling services. All projects are run by local staff and all target the same group of beneficiaries:  vulnerable street children. 

Children of the Andes (COTA)

Children of the Andes (COTA) provides support to Colombia’s most vulnerable children by working in partnership with local NGOs. COTA was established in 1991 to support children living in the sewers of Bogotá, following a documentary by the British film-maker Desmond Wilcox. Today, COTA works with 13 project partners across Colombia, helping thousands of children affected by poverty and violence.             

SKCV Children's Trust

SKCV is focused on supporting street children in India. SKCV in India runs a night shelter and two residential villages, one for boys and one for girls in Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh. It provides accommodation, education and medical care for children who have been living on the streets and its outreach programme identifies those in need. Its approach has been universally praised and adopted by many other charities working in this field. The projects are now run on a day to day basis by ex street children who have grown up, obtained qualifications and stayed on to help others. They are overseen and supported by local trustees.

ChildHope is a small UK registered charity working around the world with children who are in some of the most difficult and dangerous circumstances. These include children who are:  Living or working on the streets or in slums, in prison or in contact with the law , exposed to abuse at home or in schools, orphaned or alone, at risk of HIV or denied treatment for AIDS, engaged in the worst forms of child labour or sexual exploitation. Millions of children face poverty and violence in their everyday lives. We believe every child deserves a life free from injustice and abuse. Since 1989 ChildHope provided crucial support to hundreds of thousands of vulnerable children, families and communities around the world. ChildHope supports projects in ten countries in Africa, Asia and South America. The projects they support give priority to prevention, finding long lasting solutions and tackling the underlying causes of poverty and violence. In October the BBC made a film of ChildHope's work in Bangladesh. Kidscape, the award-winning charity known for its work in keeping children safe, was established in 1985 by child psychologist Michele Elliott.  Kidscape is committed to keeping children safe from abuse. Kidscape is the first charity in the UK established specifically to prevent bulying and child sexual abuse. Kidscape believes that protecting children from harm is key. Kidscape works UK-wide to provide individuals and organisations with practical skills and resources necessary to keep children safe from harm. The Kidscape staff equips vulnerable children with practical non-threatening knowledge and skills in how to keep themselves safe and reduce the likelihood of future harm.
